barack obama won nobel prize...........when I heard ..I thought someone was joking...........indeed the credibility of the selection process in doubt .............I wonder on his so called “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.”I believe that the Nobel prize ought to be awarded for great things but not for great promises .........till now except for making great promises he has not done anything. Has he brought peace to he Middle East? No.

Yes, he made some nice European-like overtures; he spoke kindly to the international Muslim community, he has been harder on Israel than his predecessor, he’s made some semi-hard handed comments to Iran. But what has he done? Let’s be honest – nothing.

Nobel prize are one of the pioneers in their field . Meant to set examples.

The smart move by President Obama would be to thank the Nobel Committee and decline the award–saying he wants to actually acheive progress before being honored.
